Making a difference Over the past 70 years, residents of the Upper Sugar River Watershed have worked to improve land use practices and maintain their bountiful natural resources. As a result, many streams now support cold water fisheries, and the entire Upper Sugar River is classified as one of the state's "exceptional resource waters." Those resources require protection now more than ever before, and those who live, work, and play in the watershed carry on their conservation efforts through the Upper Sugar River Watershed Association. |
